What will happen after I have arrived in the Netherlands?
Our Program Manager will touch base with you regularly to ensure that you are supported throughout your au pairing year. We expect you to turn up for these calls as it is important for us to keep in contact.

We also expect you to inform us of any relevant changes during your stay in the Netherlands.
You are responsible for administrative related tasks (with the support of your host and agency). For e.g. to register yourself at the city hall, apply for the Dutch Basic Healthcare insurance and request for Healthcare benefits (zorgtoeslag), and to take a TB test as required by the Dutch government (depends on your nationality).
You should manage your own expenses and communicate with your host about your 2-week vacation plan as part of your 1 year au pair benefit. You are responsible for all your vacation finances.
And most importantly, enjoy spending your time with your host families and learning to live in another country!
