Au Pair Complaint Procedure
What can you do if you are confronted with a difficult situation? If you have a complaint about your host family (you have to carry out other tasks – not light household tasks- or work longer hours than the agreed 30 hours per week), the Au Pair must try to resolve the issues related to work schedule, house rules and day-offs/holidays with the Host Family. If they are unable to solve the issues, Sunshine Au Pair agency should be contacted and a complaint should be raised in writing.
After the complaint is received, we will make the necessary steps to understand the situation and help arrive at solutions through mediation. If the problem cannot be resolved, the Sunshine Au Pair agency will make a decision based on what the Au Pair prefers as a next step.
